You know your photos are somewhere on your computer. But do you actually know where they are?

One of the biggest stumbling blocks when organising photos isn't the photos themselves. It's understanding how your computer works.

Where exactly is the Pictures folder? Why are there TWO Pictures folders on a PC? Why does OneDrive seem to be involved? Where did your external hard drive go? And what on earth is that long list of things down the left side of File Explorer?

And if you are on a Mac, you may have an entirely different set of questions. What is Finder? Where are your photos actually stored? What is inside a Photos Library? Where are your iCloud Photos settings? How do I see how much space is free on my Mac.  And where do I see the date on my photos?

Enter Navigating Your Photos on Your Computer: Mac and PC.

In this month's short course, we are going back to basics and taking a tour of the places on your computer that you need to understand when you are organising photos.

Because once you understand where your photos live, how to find them and what your computer is showing you, everything about photo organising becomes much easier.

We will look separately at Windows PCs and Macs so you can learn how YOUR computer works without getting lost in instructions that don't apply to you.

In this course, I will show you how to confidently navigate the parts of your Mac or PC that you need for organising, finding and managing your photos.
