Are you in charge of generational photo history in your family?
Have you struggled with how to separate or include photos and documents from previous generations into your own nuclear family photo collection?

Most of us are the designated historian of our nuclear family's history.  However, alot of us have also either inherited history from the generations before us, or have pursued collecting information, photos and documents from previous generations.

Tools like Ancestry.com and Family Tree Maker are popular places to collate multi-generational history, but what if would like to store it with your own nuclear family history?  Or at least in a similar system?

Is it possible?  Is it functional?  Is it sharable?

In most cases yes but with some limitations.

Organising photos is always a trade off between desires, time and perfection.

But if you would like to keep both your own family's current history and the history of the generations before you in one place and in one system, there are strategies and tools that can help.

Who is this class for?

This class is for you if you have inherited family photos and documents or if you are actively researching and curating a collection of your own.
